The NHVR has initiated dialogue with the CPSU NSW under its obligations to consult with the union in the case of the introduction of major workplace change.
On 17 February 2023 the CPSU NSW met with the NHVR to be briefed on changes to the structure of the Prosecutions Department and the NHVR’s intention to relax its COVID-19 vaccination mandate for employees.
The NHVR have initiated consultation regarding a change to its Prosecutions team.
At the meeting on 17 February 2023 the NHVR presented its intention to expand the team through the inclusion of additional roles and a potential shuffle in other roles. The NHVR has confirmed that there will be no decrease in headcount with no redundancies being entertained.
Consultation commenced on 13 February and is open to any potentially affected employee until 27 February.

The NHVR have flagged a change to their mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy with the intention to:
The NHVR presented a report from a risk assessment it undertook as to the viability of continuing the policy.
The change is unusual but coincides with changes to Public Health Orders.
Consultation is open until 27 February 2023.
