As members will recall the WaterNSW Enterprise Agreement 2021 was approved in December 2021. However, because of the NSW Government’s unfair Wages Policy it could only be made for a period of one year, expiring on 30 June 2022.
Therefore bargaining recommenced on 21 March 2022, where the parties agreed to continue with the interest based approach to bargaining and developed a bargaining plan. The parties developed key interests to be addressed during bargaining, with them being:
