Have your say on your conditions at our work + union meeting

Your new Enterprise Agreement (EA) is finally up for a vote. This is your opportunity to have a say on your employment conditions by voting either ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on your EA by midday on Monday, 8 November. It is essential that you make an informed decision and cast your vote to ensure you get the Agreement you want.

The proposed EA is attached HERE, and we would like you to pay particular attention to the following changes:

  • Increments and Salary Allowances
Clause 52. Flexible salaries and allowances to attract and retain identified strategic positions.
  • Working from Home
Clause 51. Greater flexibility to work from any location other than UAC offices. Remote work is a type of flexible work arrangement and includes working from home.
  • Flexitime
Clause 19. New clause to replace the current RDO system. Greater flexibility to work their ordinary hours on any given day, within the span of hours of 7am to 7pm.

Additional positive things to note are the inclusion of a separate Domestic Violence Leave clause and extension of union training leave to all members.

Member debrief

We will also be holding a member debrief to discuss the outcome of the vote, your bargaining representatives’ reflections and your thoughts on the outcome.

When: Wednesday 10 November, 12 – 1 PM
Where: Teams link here

The CPSU NSW would also like to take this opportunity to thank your union bargaining representatives and delegates Fiona and Daniel for their tireless work and dedication to members and colleagues during this bargaining round.
