Update on SCU Enterprise Bargaining

The first preliminary meeting with Southern Cross University to lay the groundwork for upcoming negotiations was held yesterday (Wednesday 25 August).

As you know, your employment conditions are up for re-negotiation after the current SCU Enterprise Agreement ended on 30 June 2021.

Your SCU CPSU NSW Bargaining Team, Shelley Odewahn, Toni Ledgerwood and Sharlene King is representing you at the table.

We can report that the focus of this initial meeting was matters of protocol such as the frequency of meetings and the CPSU NSW Bargaining team made clear our intention to work collaboratively with all parties.  There will be a follow-up meeting on September 8.

Formal negotiations are expected to commence in October.

Professional Staff are worth every cent.

The CPSU NSW is representing the interests of Professional Staff at the bargaining table.

It’s not too late to let us know about aspects of your employment you think need to be improved and strengthened.

We can only act on your behalf if you’re a CPSU NSW member. If you or someone you know isn’t a member, join now.
