Enterprise Agreement Bargaining and Workload Issues

Enterprise Agreement Bargaining and Workload Issues – June 2021 (pdf version)

Bargaining

Earlier this month, the CPSU NSW wrote to Australian Unity requesting the re-commencement of bargaining for a new Enterprise Agreement (EA). This follows the February signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the CPSU NSW and Australian Unity facilitating the continuation of the terms and conditions from the now expired copied state award.

Meetings will commence on 13 July and will continue until an acceptable outcome is reached. We will keep members updated on the progress of discussions as they unfold.

Workload Issues

The CPSU NSW has received feedback from a number of members pointing to significant workload pressures being experienced in the work place. In light of this, and to provide feedback for the upcoming EA negotiations, we are seeking your input on this issue and will be conducting a survey next week. Please keep an eye out for a survey invitation next week and take the time to provide your feedback. It will be your responses that help shape discussions with Australian Unity.
