Download the latest issue of Red Tape

Red Tape – Jan 2021 (PDF version)

The latest issue of Red Tape is now available to download HERE.

Our current cover story looks into the incredible work done by PSA/CPSU NSW members to keep COVID-19 out of the state’s prisons and Youth Justice centres. As well as keeping NSW gaols COVID-free, PSA members have worked to set up a field hospital to limit the impact any possible outbreaks will have on the state’s health system.

The amazing job done by these members shows why NSW needs a well-resourced – and properly paid – public sector.

In addition, we look at government responses to the bushfires of 2019-20, and how our members are prepared for any future blazes.

As NSW looks to rebuilding its economy, this issue of Red Tape looks at Modern Monetary Theory, an alternative to the discredited austerity programs that have been such a disaster abroad.

In addition, the latest issue features news stories, workplace health and safety information and an update from our Women’s Council.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at our issue on our video presentation HERE.
