TransGrid EA – June 2020 (PDF version)
The CPSU NSW last wrote to members in June 2020 at the beginning of the bargaining process for the new TransGrid Enterprise Agreement 2020, informing you of the combined unions’ log of claims, as well as seeking your input into the bargaining process.
Since our June communication, CPSU NSW industrial staff and representatives from the other unions have met with TransGrid management on a regular basis to negotiate on your behalf.
Mostly, the negotiations have been undertaken online via video link. However, meeting in person has been an available option.
The current 2016 Enterprise Agreement expires early next month. TransGrid and the combined unions are presently looking to secure a new agreement shortly.
The proposed outcomes document as negotiated between the parties can be found HERE. We encourage all members to read through this document.

The combined unions will be meeting TransGrid over the coming fortnight to finalise negotiations.
Once a document is finalised, TransGrid will conduct a staff ballot.
If a majority of eligible staff who vote, vote to endorse the proposal, then the Enterprise Agreement will be made. TransGrid will then apply to the Fair Work Commission for approval of the Enterprise Agreement.
If a majority of eligible staff who vote, vote against the proposal, then the proposed Enterprise Agreement cannot be made. Under these circumstances staff will have voted to reject the employer’s offer and bargaining for a new Enterprise Agreement will continue.
For further information, contact one of our industrial team below.
We will communicate again shortly.
