TAFE – A brief update on enterprise bargaining

TAFE – A brief update on enterprise bargaining – June 2019 (PDF version)

To briefly update CPSU NSW members our union delegates have continued working to identify the key areas/workplace issues within the current enterprise agreement that need overhaul to better serve the interests of TAFE Administrative, Support and related employees.

This Thursday marks the official beginning of bargaining between TAFENSW and your union.

For the first couple of sessions it is envisaged that the parties will bring to the table and agree on the protocols that will govern bargaining, and a bargaining plan. We will report back on the specifics once they’re established.

CSPU NSW plan

As we have communicated previously it is important that we engage members across the state, in all areas, be it gardeners, IT staff, security staff etc, throughout bargaining to ensure all voices are heard and considered.

In a nutshell, our plan will be to conduct video-conferencing across all sites throughout the bargaining process – and we invite ALL members to join in the conversation.
