TAFE update – Temporary appointments – July 2018 (PDF version)
The CPSU NSW recently became aware this week that a number of long-term temporary staff have recently received correspondence from TAFE advising them of an extension in their employment from 30 June 2018 until Friday 20 July 2018.
The CPSU NSW has written to TAFE to clarify the situation and is currently awaiting a response. In our view, TAFE’s actions are totally unacceptable and we are aware that, in some cases, these staff have been employed on a ‘temporary’ basis for more than 10 years.
